How to measure for a sliding door wardrobe

You may be excited about the prospect of a new wardrobe or wardrobe doors, but there are a few things you’ll need to do first. One of them is measuring the space you want your wardrobe to be in.

Why is it important to measure a wardrobe?

Our sliding door wardrobes are bespoke, which means they are tailor-made to order. We need measurements so we know that the wardrobe will fit your space perfectly!

Any place against a wall can potentially be good for your new wardrobe – we can even work with sloped ceilings.

You may have already measured the space you want to use in the past, but it’s important that you measure it again. This is to assure that the measurements are all correct – it would be a disaster if our bespoke, sliding door wardrobe didn’t fit your space!

If you’re still unsure of how to properly measure your space for a wardrobe, we have created a video that explains what to do, clearly and easily. In this video, Dave Collins shows TV presenter Alastair Greener a demonstration of how to measure a space for a wardrobe.
